Afternoon tea for you and your dog !

Doggy Afternoon Tea at The Egerton House Hotel in Knightsbridge

A friend from America asked if we could get afternoon tea together when she comes to London. My immediate dilemma was oh no! where can I bring Amelia. After some snooping I found out that the Egerton House Hotel in Knightsbridge allowed dogs to join you! When I called them they told me that Amelia would have a menu of her own! This was so exciting I couldn’t possibly wait until April to find out more! We took the first free table and dashed over!

The Welcome

Classic English interiors, warm and friendly staff… I felt like Amelia and I walked into a movie. We were seated at our table with her Doggy Afternoon Tea Menu readily waiting. I have a feeling everyone was excited about Amelia’s arrival as we were soon surrounded by a collection of staff who had been expecting her. After sitting down the manager came to introduce herself & gave Amelia a warm welcome.

A charming server helped us navigate the extensive tea list with his expertise & became Amelia’s favourite person in an instant.

Beautiful interiors that will make you feel at home. Time flew by as we enjoyed our afternoon at The Egerton House Hotel. I found plenty of beautiful places to photograph Amelia. She felt right at home too roaming around until she found the perfect spot to have a nap!

Time To Say Goodbye For Now

Amelia outside the hotel with her new toy & biscuits

Amelia left the happiest girl in the world with her new pink toy given to her by the manager & take away peanut butter biscuits. I in turn was given a box of desserts I was unable to finish to take home. We really had a idyllic little afternoon to ourselves.

We’ve never had to stay at a hotel in London… but in the future when people ask me for the best English hotel to stay at… my new answer will be the Egerton House Hotel.

    This looks just beautiful.
I saw it a few weeks ago, and booked straight away for when we’re in London over Easter.

The amount of food is great, and your afternoon tea looks lovely too!

I must say it looks so quiet too, I’m doubtful for the same over a Bank Holiday Weekend, but it’s lovely to see how pretty and light it looks.
